Jason Gilbert

Jason Gilbert has spent more than two decades working in private placements, alternative investments and the businesses built around them.

Throughout his career, he has worked with entrepreneurs, sponsors, operators and accredited investors across a range of private-market opportunities, with experience spanning capital formation, investment structuring, business development and investor relations.

Over time, energy became an increasingly important part of his work as Jason moved closer to the assets and people behind the investments.

That progression eventually took him into the oil fields of Kansas and Texas, where he became directly involved with geologists, operators, land professionals and drilling teams and gained firsthand experience with the decisions required to move a prospect from acreage to production.

Prior to forming Fox Energy Partners, Mr. Gilbert’s Kansas oil experience included the Lippelmann Prospect, a separate wildcat development undertaken before Fox. That experience reinforced a principle that continues to shape his approach today: successful oil and gas development depends on more than capital. Location, geology, structure, people and execution all have to work together.

Fox Energy Partners grew out of that perspective.

Today, Jason leads the company’s prospect selection, project structuring and investor strategy while remaining closely involved with the professionals responsible for developing and operating each project.

His philosophy is straightforward:

For Mr. Gilbert, the responsibility does not end when capital is raised or when the rig leaves the location. A successful well becomes an operating asset, bringing a longer obligation to manage the project, communicate with investors and remain accountable for the decisions made along the way.
